WATSONVILLE, CA – On Friday, July 25 at 10:30amPT, U.S. Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren (CA-18), local leaders, and community members will discuss legislation to unlock a legal path to lawful permanent residence for millions of long-term U.S. residents at an event in Watsonville, CA, a community that relies upon farmworkers, many of whom are undocumented and have positively contributed to America’s economy for decades. Americans have food on their tables day in and day out because of the backbreaking work of ag laborers.
