Rep. Zoe Lofgren Announces House Judiciary and Science Committee Assignments for 113th Congress

Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-San Jose) today announced that she will serve on the House Judiciary Committee and the House Science, Space and Technology Committee in the 113th Congress. Rep. Lofgren will serve as the ranking member of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration Policy and Border Enforcement, where she will provide Democratic leadership on immigration issues. She will also serve on the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property and the Internet, a key assignment for matters pertaining to patents, copyright reforms and issues related to a free and open Internet.

On the House Science, Space and Technology Committee, Rep. Lofgren will serve on the Subcommittee on Energy and the Subcommittee on Research. These subcommittee assignments will place Rep. Lofgren in key areas to advance policy related to energy research and development, and broader U.S. scientific research and technology policy.

Lofgren.
