Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif) and the House Judiciary Democratic Majority voted to hold U.S. Attorney General William Barr in contempt for failing to comply with the Committee's subpoena for the full, unredacted report prepared by Special Counsel Robert Muller and the underlying evidence related to the Special Counsel's investigation.
SAN JOSE, CA – Today, U.S. Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.), a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee, issued the following statement regarding the release of the report written by Special Counsel Robert Mueller:
"While I am still working my way through the redacted Mueller Report, it's clear this is not a good report for the President or for Attorney General Barr. The Attorney General's comments to the public and to the Congress, including some made under oath, are not supported by the report.
