Washington, D.C.—Today U.S. Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee, released the following statement:

"A formal impeachment inquiry should be undertaken in the House of Representatives.

"The President has now admitted that he asked the President of Ukraine to take actions to help his re-election. That conduct alone violates his obligations under the Constitution.

"These facts pose a threat to our national security."

Washington, DC – U.S. Representatives Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) and Jim Sensenbrenner (R- WI) today introduced the bipartisan Bankruptcy Venue Reform Act of 2019 to ensure that the employees, small businesses, and local communities that are most impacted by a Chapter 11 bankruptcy are able to fully and fairly participate in proceedings.
