Mineta San Jose International Airport will receive more than $3 million in federal funding for runway related construction and improvements through a U.S. Department of Transportation grant. The grant funds the sixth phase of an ongoing $55 million construction project begun in 2009 improving the airport's general aviation taxiway running parallel to Runway 11/29.

Named in honor of the late Internet innovator and activist Aaron Swartz, the bipartisan legislation would reform the quarter-century old Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) to work for the digital age. Swartz's passing in January spotlighted serious problems with the vague wording of the CFAA.
